A HADDINGTON man who admitted supplying cannabis resin to others has been placed on a restriction of liberty order.
Mark Shaw appeared on indictment at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and pleaded guilty to a reduced libel of supplying the Class B drug from a unit at an industrial park in Loanhead.
Shaw, of Chalybeate, was back in the dock in front of Sheriff Thomas Welsh QC last Wednesday for sentencing.
The sheriff placed the 28-year-old dealer on a six-month restriction of liberty order, meaning Shaw must stay within his home address between 9pm and 6am daily..
Shaw pleaded guilty to supplying cannabis resin to others at an address in Pathhead, Midlothian, and at Pentland Industrial Estate on September 30, 2016.
Not guilty pleas to possessing a stun gun at both the locations were accepted by the Crown.
