A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was attacked by an angry car owner as he walked a school friend home in Prestonpans.

The teenager was helping the younger boy, who was new to the town, find his way home when he was suddenly grabbed from behind and thrown against a vehicle.

Police were called by the youngster's family after the incident, which happened on Ayres Wynd shortly after 8.30pm on the evening of Thursday, February 20.
