A 34-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Musselburgh on Saturday.
A woman, believed to be 87, was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected broken arm following the alleged incident on North High Street at about 12.15pm.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
