IT LOOKS like East Lothian will have yet another weekend of bad weather this weekend as two yellow wind warnings have been issued by the Met Office.
The first of the 'be aware' warnings is in effect 8am-8pm tomorrow (Friday) and covers the whole of the county.
Wind speeds are predicted to reach 55-65 miles per hour in places.
Some disruption and delays for all vehicles and public transport are expected.
The second warning runs 6am-10pm on Saturday, covering the whole of Scotland and northern England.
Strong winds of 55-75 miles per hour are predicted, with the heaviest winds likely to occur alongside heavy rain, hail, sleet and snow.
Disruption and delays are also predicted, with some bus and train journeys taking longer.
The Met Office adds: “Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.
“It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.”
