The Met Office has been churning out warnings after warnings for the city over the past two weeks.

With today being mostly dry, we have only just about recovered from Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis.

But, to much of our disappointment, we have another yellow weather warning in place for this coming Friday.

We're to expect torrential rain to fall upon the city throughout the day, with a warning in place from 6am until 9pm.

The Met Office is urging us to prepare again for potential travel disruption and local flooding.

Their forecast reads: "Persistent and sometimes heavy rain is expected across the western and central Highlands along with southern Scotland on Friday.

"Accumulations of 30 to 40 mm are likely on high ground with peaks of 60 mm across the southern and central Highlands.

"Drier conditions will extend from the northwest through the evening."

It's safe to say we're all getting our money's worth out of our brollies!

What to expect:

  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
