TRAIN services in the county are back to normal after a train fault at Craigentinny, near Edinburgh, caused disruption and delays this afternoon (Wednesday).
Services between Edinburgh, North Berwick and Dunbar were all affected by the incident, which was first reported at about 11.50am.
The line itself reopened at 1pm but delays continued and were having a knock on effect on services throughout the afternoon.
Scotrail announced at 3.30pm that all disruption had ended, after inital claims said effects were meant to last until 4pm.
It is not known what caused the fault but Scotrail staff and the train driver were all on scene working to find the issue.
