A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of his mother Louise Tiffney.
Sean Flynn, 36, whose address was given as Berlin, Germany, appeared in private on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Friday).
Flynn made no plea to the charge of murder and was released on bail pending his next court appearance.
Ms Tiffney went missing from her home at Dean Path, Edinburgh, in 2002.
The remains of the 43-year-old were found by a cyclist off the A198 near Gosford Estate, Longniddry, in April 2017.
