A COUNTY-BASED company have unveiled their latest project… a 10-metre-high puppet made entirely from recyclable materials.
Vision Mechanics, whose creative shed is based in Drummohr, near Prestonpans, created the puppet, which they called STORM to mark the Year of Coasts and Waters.
They rehearsed with AT Best, which are providing machinery to help move STORM, at the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune yesterday (Wednesday) ahead of STORM’s first appearance at the Celtic Connections festival’s coastal connections day on Saturday.

The project to create Scotland's largest puppet took two years to complete.
STORM, who weighs in at 600 kilograms, will be going on a tour around Scotland, with details of her next stops yet to be announced.
