A MAN previously acquitted of murdering his mother is set to face a retrial.
Sean Flynn was acquitted of murdering mother Louise Tiffney in 2005.
Ms Tiffney went missing from her home at Dean Path, Edinburgh, in 2002.
The 43-year-old’s remains were found by a cyclist off the A198 near Gosford Estate, Longniddry, in April 2017.
Prosecutors have now been granted permission under double jeopardy law for a retrial.
