Police closed the road
A SECTION of the A1 was closed yesterday (Sunday) evening as police searched for two missing teenagers.
The road was closed between the Gladsmuir and Oaktree junctions in both directions at about 8pm.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed that the road was closed as officers searched for two teenagers.
He added they had been found safe and well, with the road reopening at about 9.20pm.
