BRAVE New Year’s Day revellers will start off their 2020 with a dip in the sea at one of East Lothian’s Loony Dooks.
This year, the annual Musselburgh dook has been cancelled due to concerns over tide times.
However, in Cockenzie and Port Seton, Dunbar and North Berwick, women and children will take to the chilly waters.
At noon today (Wednesday) in North Berwick, brave souls will meet at the town’s West Bay.
In Dunbar, the dip takes place at 1pm at East Beach (at the bottom of Woodbush), in front of Lammermuir House Care Home.
And the dook in Cockenzie and Port Seton is at Cockenzie Boat Shore at 12.30pm.
