A PRIMARY school pupil from Tranent is selling reindeer food to raise money for homeless charity Steps to Hope.
Archie Lusk, eight, of Meetinghouse Drive, decided he wanted to raise money to help the homeless this Christmas, so opted to make reindeer food to sell rather than spend money on Christmas cards.
The reindeer food, made by the P4 Ormiston Primary School pupil, is a mix of oats and other special ingredients.
It is packaged with a label that reads: “Sprinkle on the lawn at night, the moon will make it sparkle bright, as Santa’s reindeers fly and roam, this will guide them to your home.”
Archie has already raised £120. The reindeer food is on sale for £2 a bag; anyone who wants to buy some can pop into Hoi Barbers in Tranent or message his mum Victoria Johnston on Facebook.
