CHRISTMAS trees are not bringing festive joy to commuters on East Lothian's busiest road.
Traffic Scotland tweeted this afternoon (Wednesday) that "a shed load" of the festive firs were on the eastbound side of the A1 between Wallyford and Tranent.
The incident was highlighted on social media just after 3.30pm and it is unclear how the trees ended up on the road.
The tweet adds: "Traffic seems to be coping."
