ScotRail services between Edinburgh and Dunbar are now running as normal again after they were suspended yesterday (Wednesday) due to damage to the overhead electric wires at Drem.
Work went underway to fix the issue yesterday afternoon, disruption was expected until 7pm last night and the trains were reported as running as normal at 6am this morning (12 December).
Edinburgh to North Berwick trains were also affected. Trains were running to Prestonpan where a replacement bus shuttle service was running between Prestonpans and North Berwick.
Passengers were advised that ScotRail tickets could be used on Lothian Buses on services 26, 30, 44, 45 and on Perrymans Buses on service 253.
