A man indecently exposed himself to a woman in Glasgow's Queen's Park yesterday afternoon.

Police confirmed they are investigating the incident and are searching for the man responsible.

One woman described an encounter with a man who was "behaving strangely" while she was dog-walking in the park.

In a Facebook post, she said: "I haven’t ever felt unsafe in the park by myself in the middle of the day before, but this incident really unsettled me because I’m regularly out with dogs alone on the little forest paths, where this man was lurking about."

The woman described the incident which happened around 12.30pm on Friday: " I walked for maybe 5 minutes and clocked a man standing down the bank to my left, stood still and staring up at me.

"I went to carry on with my walk and noticed he was staying parallel to me the entire time.

"I stopped and went to let him carry on ahead but he didn’t.

"We had a weird stare-off before he shuffled on into the trees. He was walking very slowly and behaving very strangely."

She told a friend she met minutes later about the incident, she added: "He then informed me later on that he’d seen this man as and where I’d described, staring at a woman walking past with his trousers down, trying to expose himself to her and touching himself.”
