SPRINT star Maria Lyle has done the double after clinching gold at the World Para Athletics Championships.
The 19-year-old, from Dunbar, was running in the T35 200m in Dubai just minutes ago.
And she raced to victory to add to the medal she took in the T35 100m on Sunday afternoon.
Then, she clocked a time of 14.62 seconds to finish clear of her rivals and pick up her first individual medal at the championships.
She lined up again at the international tournament this afternoon (Thursday) and once again powered to victory in a time of 30.33 seconds.
The former Dunbar Grammar School pupil is competing in her third World Championships.
Two years ago, in London, she took bronze in the T35 200m, having taken silver in the same event in 2015 in Doha.
She took the same medals in the T35 100m events and took gold for her part in the 4x100m relay – T35-38 event in 2015.
