NEARLY 60 properties have been affected by a powercut in Cockenzie and Port Seton.
The powercut which is ongoing is affecting properties on Links Road and the surrounding streets.
Around 56 properties have been affected by the outage which has been caused by an underground cable fault in the area.
Scottish Power became aware of the problem just after 2pm and engineers are on site to restore power as early as possible.
This could be anytime before 10pm but should not be later.
The affected postcodes are EH320AP, EH320AW, EH320DF, EH320DT, EH320DU, EH320DX, EH320DZ, EH320EA, EH320HB, EH32OEA.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Power said: “There is an underground cable fault in the area and engineers are on site. We would like to apologise to our customers for the inconvenience caused.”
