THE family of Wallyford woman Mekala Osborne, who is seriously ill in South East Asia, have shared a video of the moment she opened her eyes to see them.
The 22-year-old fell ill while travelling through Vietnam with what was originally diagnosed as bronchial pneumonia.
After being put into an induced coma in critical condition, Mekala was moved to a hospital in Singapore.
Her mum Yvonne and stepdad Jimmy are by her side and have said that although she is not out of the woods just yet, her response when she woke up was positive.
A fundraising page has been set up to support the family while they are over with Mekala.
