EIGHTIES pop crooner Rick Astley will perform his greatest hits in Glasgow next year.

The singer has announced he will bring his tour to the SEC Armadillo on April 5.

Scottish star KT Tunstall will support him.

Rick said: "I am very excited to tell you that I am going on a greatest hits tour in the UK next year. 

"I am so excited we are going to be playing some old songs, obviously Never Gonna Give You Up, Together Forever, all of those.

"But I am also going to play you some new songs as well."

Rick, 53, rose to fame in the 80s with hit Never Gonna Give You Up. It was number one in 25 countries in 1987. 

He retired in 1993 having sold 40 million records worldwide but made a comeback in 2007. 

He is due to release new album The Best of Me. 

Scottish songstress KT Tunstall, who hails from Fife, is best known for her song Suddenly I See.

Tickets for the show go on sale next Friday at 9.30 am.
