ESKMUTHE Rowing Club from Musselburgh scooped a gold and silver medal at North Berwick Rowing Club’s 10th regatta.
The mixed novice team of Ryan Pearson, Rebecca Farron, Ed Fernley and Rachel Bower with cox Gaynor Allen celebrated winning gold at the recent event.
The men’s 50-plus crew of Richard Calkwell, Andy Duncan, David Lee and Peter Strachan with cox Georgina Brown took silver.
Gaynor, club chairperson, said: “We are so proud of our rowers. We have been training hard in preparation for the world championships and the last few regattas of the season and it is great to see this paying off. We had a great day rowing the 2.9km course around Craigleith island – well done to NBRC for organising such a fabulous event.”
