A 23-YEAR-OLD man was attacked at a store in Musselburgh last Thursday, and an attempt was made to steal his motorbike which was parked outside.
Police officers are currently following a positive line of enquiry after the incident, which happened at about 5.35pm at the Day-Today on North High Street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in East Lothian are investigating a serious assault and attempted robbery in Musselburgh.
"The victim sustained facial injuries and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment."
