A PRESTONPANS man has been admonished after he proved to be of good behaviour for the past six months.
David Trench was told to stay out of trouble after he admitted two charges involving a knife.
Trench assaulted two police officers by throwing a knife at them at his home on the town’s High Street last year.
Trench, 41, also behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and brandishing a knife at the officers on November 26 last year.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in January, where he pleaded guilty to both offences.
Trench returned to court for sentencing last Wednesday, where Sheriff John Cook was told he had been of good behaviour in the meantime.
Sheriff Cook warned Trench of his future conduct and admonished him.
