A MUSSELBURGH woman who has stayed out of trouble for 12 months following an incident with a child has been admonished.
Ewa Wilson shouted and swore before taking a nine-year-old child to a room within an address in Portobello, Edinburgh, and preventing others from gaining entry.
Wilson, of Musselburgh High Street, denied the offence and stood trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last year where she was found guilty.
Wilson was also alleged to have assaulted Jonathan Wilson and to struggling with him but that charge was found not proven.
The 39-year-old had her sentence deferred for a year for her to prove she could stay out of trouble.
And in court last Thursday, Sheriff Michael O’Grady QC was told Wilson had been of good behaviour and he handed out an admonishment.
