EAST Lothian is again packed full of attractions over the weekend, ensuring, if you are looking for something to do, there is something for everyone.
The Courier has put together a list of five of the top things to do between this evening (Friday) and over the weekend.
Whether it is football or flowers, horses or celebrities or much more, there is plenty to keep everyone occupied - even if the weather isn't perfect.
1. Fringe by the Sea
The great and good of art, comedy and music are set to light up the county’s coastline as North Berwick’s Fringe by the Sea festival launches today (Friday).
Tonight, at 5pm, there is a chance to hear Newsnight's Kirsty Wark discuss her new novel in the Simpson and Marwick Spiegeltent.
Later that evening, at 7pm, it is the turn of Fred MacAulay.
The comedian and radio presenter will light up the stage with his comedy in the same venue.
Meanwhile, in the town's community centre, NB Movies is showing Neither Wolf Nor Dog from 7pm.
Tomorrow (Saturday), former Masterchef winner, food writer and novelist Sue Lawrence visits the town's library.
From 2pm, she will discuss her new novel Down to the Sea, which is set in Newhaven.
Comedian Reginald D Hunter performs in the Simpson and Marwick Spiegeltent from 5pm while there is live music from The Cuban Brothers from 9pm in the same venue.
Sunday brings Edinburgh-based author, speaker, blogger and podcaster JoJo Fraser to the Lighthouse Spiegeltent from 1pm.
Then, at 3pm in the same venue, DJ Monski Mouse will be playing some hits specially for the under-fives and parents/carers.
American R&B singer-songwriter Alexander O'Neal will be in the Simpson and Marwick Spiegeltent from 9pm.

2. Gullane Games
THE curtain comes down on another memorable Gullane Games.
This evening (Friday) features a quiz night in the village hall for over-18s.
Tickets are £20 for a team of four and available from gullanegames@outlook.com
The main event is Gullane Games Day itself tomorrow (Saturday), plus parade.
The parade under way at the children’s course at 1.30pm.
Fancy dress is optional and the theme of the parade is ‘Our Natural Environment’.
Prizes will be awarded for the best costume to age categories P3 and under, and P4 and above.
The first race begins at 2.30pm, while a tea tent, face painting, beat the goalie, assault course and tug of war are also on offer.
Throughout the week, shops will be displaying ‘deliberate mistakes’ in their windows for children to spot; entry forms for the competition are available from the pharmacy on the opening day of the games.
3. Innerwick Flower Show
THE 146th annual Innerwick Flower Show takes place on Saturday and promises a fun family day out.
Flower displays, home baking, crafts and stalls of all kinds are on offer.
Residents have been working hard to prepare their entries for a variety of competitions.
Keen gardeners, crafters and bakers have been working around the clock to finesse their pieces.
They will be entering competitions such as best sunflower, best bouquet, best Victoria sponge and largest cabbage, with the judges ready to make their decisions.
Awards will be presented by Sheila Knox, whose late father Bob Denholm was a loyal supporter of the show and has an award named after him.
Doors for the event open at 2pm for a 2.15pm start.
4. Friday Night at the Races
MUSSELBURGH Racecourse is prepared for a busy summer spell with the first of four August meetings today (Friday).
Friday Night at the Races is a firm favourite with the after-work crowd who want to let off steam after a hard week and ease into weekend downtime.
Doors open at 4pm, which gives plenty of time ahead of the first race of the evening.
With seven competitive flat races and prize money of more than £50,000, the action gets underway at 5.30pm with the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Novice Stakes over seven furlongs.
Feature race of the evening is the £13,000 Geoghegans sprint handicap over five furlongs at 7.10pm.
After the last race at 8.40pm, racecourse favourites FunkWagen get the party started with summer tunes on the Loretto Lawn.

5. Football
THE new season got under way in East Lothian last Saturday and there are three home games to choose from on Saturday when you can go along and cheer on your local team.
Musselburgh Athletic, Tranent and Preston Athletic are all at home, with kick-off at 2.30pm at each game.
Premier Division Musselburgh welcome Sauchie to East Lothian, with both teams still looking to get their first wins of the season.
Musselburgh lost out to Dunbar, who scored a late winner (pictured above, courtesy of Gordon Maitland), last weekend.
Meanwhile, Tranent, who have won one and drawn one of their opening two games, will play host to Jeanfield Swifts.
Finally, Preston Athletic welcome Stirling University and will be looking to build on their midweek 6-0 demolition of Tweedmouth Rangers.
