A teenager will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today
A POLICE pursuit from Edinburgh to Musselburgh has led to an 18-year-man appearing in court later today.
The pursuit happened after police officers on patrol saw a vehicle being driven in a “concerning manner and with apparent faults” near to Milton Road East in Edinburgh.
As police went to stop the vehicle, it took off at speed towards Musselburgh, colliding with other vehicles as the officers pursued.
The male was eventually caught near to North High Street in Musselburgh after leaving his vehicle and attempting to escape on foot.
He was arrested and charged with seven offences including dangerous driving and will appear in the Edinburgh Sheriff Court later today.
