A MAN has been arrested after cigarettes and alcohol were stolen from a Haddington business during an early-morning break in.

Police are carrying out enquiries after Rosehall Stores was targeted at about 2.50am yesterday morning (Thursday).

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "A man has been arrested following a break-in at a store on Pencaitland Road, Haddington, on July 18.

"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."

Police are also "following a positive line of enquiry" in relation to a second suspect.
