A MUSSELBURGH man has been placed on the sex offenders’ register after he sent sexual images to a woman.
Albert Toth, of Beach Lane, sent the images to the woman from his home address in May.
On Monday, Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard that the 35-year-old repeatedly sent images of male and female genitalia to the woman.
The 35-year-old had previously admitted his guilt and he returned to court for sentencing in front of Sheriff Adrian Cottam.
The sheriff placed Toth on two years of supervision and on the sex offenders’ register for the same term.
Toth was also ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and told he must not approach or contact the woman involved as part of a conduct requirement.
Toth pleaded guilty to sending the sexual images to the woman from his home on May 5.
