A SOLICITOR and court lawyer in Musselburgh has expressed his anger after one of his office windows was smashed last week.

Robert Low, whose office R A Low & Co is based on Newbigging in the town, has been working in his profession for more than 20 years.

He told the Courier: “I had something similar happen in April last year. I think it’s connected with the work I do.

“They have probably done it to try and scare me off. They’re not going to scare me or other vulnerable clients who need protection.”

Mr Low added: “Replacing a window is a small price to pay to protect the public.”

The incident is believed to have taken place either late last Wednesday evening or early last Thursday morning.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in East Lothian are investigating following a report of vandalism to a business premises in Musselburgh that was received on Thursday, July 11.
