A MUSSELBURGH man has been fined after he admitted behaving aggressively towards his former partner.
Gordon Leadbetter shouted and swore at his ex-partner before acting aggressively towards her at an address in the town in April.
Leadbetter, of Stoneybank Place, also admitted repeatedly banging on the front door of her home and uttering threats of a violent nature.
Leadbetter has now been told he must stay away from the woman for the next six months after he was issued with a non-harassment order during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court. The 36-year-old was also told he must pay a £90 fine.
Leadbetter pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and acting aggressively towards his former partner, banging on her front door and uttering threats to her at an address at Whitehill Avenue, Musselburgh, on April 7.
