A PASSENGER had to be taken to hospital following a two-car accident near East Linton on Friday evening.
The incident took place on the A199, near Pencraig picnic area, west of the village, at about 5.30pm.
The incident involved a Seat Ibiza and a Honda Civic and a passenger from the Seat was taken to hospital with an arm injury.
A spokesman for Police Scotland told the Courier that the driver of the Honda had been issued with a fixed penalty ticket for careless driving.
