A TRANENT man is facing a prison sentence after he admitted attacking his partner with a bottle.
Scott Wells, of Bridge Street, struck his girlfriend to the head with the glass bottle while the pair were staying at a Travelodge on Rose Street in Edinburgh on February 25.
Wells appeared in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday, where the court heard he had a separate deferred sentence on a domestic matter involving the same woman scheduled for later this month.
Sheriff Fletcher agreed not to hear any narration of the bottle attack and deferred the case to call alongside the other matter on June 29.
