Police have seized drugs in Macmerry
MORE than £6,000 of drugs have been seized from a property in Macmerry.
Police officers from the East Lothian Community Action Team recovered significant quantities of heroin, cocaine and cannabis following the execution of a drugs warrant last Wednesday.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed: “The estimated value of these items is £6,110.
“A quantity of cash was also recovered at that time.”
A 28-year-old man has been charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
