A FISHERMAN who suffered a suspected broken leg has been rescued.
Dunbar Coastguard and Dunbar RNLI came to the fisherman's aid yesterday afternoon (Sunday) at Skateraw, near Dunbar.
The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) were also on scene.
The fisherman was put on a stretcher and moved off the beach into an ambulance.
The coastguard has warned people who fish from the rocks to take care, to always wear a suitable floatation device and to check weather and tidal conditions.
