TRANENT High Street was closed yesterday afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a lorry.
Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service were at the scene at the north end of High Street following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that they received a call at 3.10pm yesterday (Thursday).
They said that the collision was believed to have occurred at low speed.
A 59-year-old female pedestrian has suffered an injury to her wrist which is being treated in hospital.
Police confirmed that no charges would follow the incident.
