GARDENING equipment has been stolen from an Inveresk church.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft from St Michael’s Church.
A shed was entered and gardening equipment, including strimmers and a leaf blower, was stolen.
The tools are used by council staff who work at the cemetery.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council said there was not yet a value for the items stolen.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 1391 of May 28, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
