A MAN has been arrested following an alleged incident on a train heading through East Lothian.

The train, which was travelling from Edinburgh to London, was stopped between Dunbar and Innerwick last Friday afternoon.

A spokeswoman for British Transport Police told the Courier: “A 42-year-old man from London was arrested following an incident on a train five miles south of Dunbar rail station at around 3pm on May 31.

“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”

Officers stepped down from the incident at about 5.45pm.
