Neilson Park, Haddington
A YOUNGSTER was taken home by police after he was found drunk in a Haddington park.
Police officers received reports of youths drinking in Neilson Park on April 19.
A police report to the town’s community council meeting on Tuesday noted: “Officers attended and found a group of youths present in the park.
“This group was dispersed and one youth was taken home for being intoxicated.”
It was the second time police had been called to the park that week.
On April 13, officers received a report of youths causing damage in the park but when they attended there were no youths and no visible damage.
