CRAIG Hoy lives in Haddington and has been involved in a number of community campaigns.

In a 25-year career in the media and in business, he worked in Edinburgh, London and Asia.

He said: “Local people want a councillor who will focus on everyday issues that matter to everyone in the ward.

"While the SNP obsesses about another divisive independence referendum, I am focusing on local services such as schools, social care, leisure facilities and roads. I will work hard to protect the interests of rural communities.

"I want to see our High Street flourish and will explore efforts to increase peak-time parking. I will also support action to combat anti-social behaviour in the town centre and beyond.

"We are welcoming many new residents and I will work hard to ensure schools, doctors surgeries and leisure services are expanded.

"I will fight SNP Government budget cuts, which this year resulted in East Lothian Council being forced to scrap free music tuition for our children and led to large council tax rises.

"Regardless of how you normally vote, please lend me your support to stop the SNP winning.

"If elected, I will be a councillor for everyone in the ward.”
