A MUSSELBURGH man who assaulted his former partner will be sentenced later this year.
Brian Bonnar, of Ladywell, attacked the woman by grabbing her by the hair and dragging her by the hair at a property in Edinburgh.
Bonnar, 61, also bit the woman on her breast during the incident last April.
He denied the allegations and stood trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Friday, where Sheriff Peter McCormack found him guilty.
Sheriff McCormack deferred sentence to next month for reports.
Bonnar was found guilty of assaulting the woman by seizing her by the hair, dragging her by the hair and biting her on the breast at an address at Murrayburn Place, Edinburgh, on April 22 last year.
