WORLD-FAMOUS pizza delivery chain Domino’s Pizza is set to open an outlet in Tranent.

Work has begun to transform the former Indian takeaway at 25 Bridge Street into a new business, which the Courier understands will be a Domino’s.

Although a spokesperson from Domino’s Pizza declined to comment on whether it was opening in Tranent, signage already approved by East Lothian Council for the premises shows the Domino’s name and logo.

Tranent is set to become the second town in East Lothian to become home to a Domino’s – the company’s only other East Lothian outlet currently is on Musselburgh’s North High Street.
