A HADDINGTON teenager has been ordered to be of good behaviour after he admitted threatening a woman during an extortion scam.
Jordan Brash made the threats to Donna Blacklock that he would damage her property if she did not pay him a sum of money.
Brash, of Florabank Road, put Ms Blackstock in a state of fear and alarm and apprehension after making the threats to her property earlier this year.
The 19-year-old attempted to extort the money from the woman between January 11 and 12.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday, where Sheriff Donald Corke said he was content to defer sentence to October 22 for Brash to stay out of trouble.
Brash pleaded guilty to placing Ms Blackstock in a state of fear and alarm by threatening to damage her property and attempting to extort money from her at an address at High Street, Prestonpans, between January 11 and 12.
