A 'large amount' of partridges have been stolen
A ‘LARGE amount’ of partridges have been reported stolen last Friday from a home in East Fortune.
After spotting a suspicious vehicle on their private CCTV, the residents of the house checked the sheds where the birds lived and found a lot to be missing, and a few of them to have died, apparently from shock.
The vehicle has been described by police as a 4x4 style car, similar to a Mitsubishi L200.
Anyone with any information about the incident should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0599 of April 26.
