AN ACTION-PACKED programme has been unveiled for Scotland’s National Airshow on July 27 at East Fortune as early-bird tickets go on sale.

The Typhoon multi-role fighter jet will be headlining the popular annual event, joined by the Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane and Avro Lancaster from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The flight programme alsos feature two helicopters from the Army Air Corps Historic Flight: a Bell Sioux and a Westland Scout helicopter.

They will be joined by an American P47 Thunderbolt from the Second World War era, a pair of Vampire jets, a Jet Provost training aircraft and a Douglas Skyraider.
