Police have arrested a man following break-ins in Ormiston
A THIRTY-NINE-YEAR-OLD man has appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in connection with housebreakings and thefts from vehicles in Ormiston.
Incidents took place overnight from Sunday into Monday, when there were two alleged break-ins and thefts.
The man was due to appear at the court on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We would continue to urge the public to remain vigilant and ensure that their homes and vehicles are kept secured at all times.
“Please report any suspicious behaviour to Police Scotland via 101, providing the descriptions of any persons or vehicles involved. Always dial 999 if a crime is ongoing.”
