A MUSSELBURGH woman has been banned from driving after she was caught five-and-a-half times over the drink-drive limit.
Gayle Duffy has been banned for 20 months after she was caught with 121mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath at High Street, Prestonpans.
The legal limit is just 22mcg.
Duffy, of Clark Avenue, was also sentenced to a 120-day restriction of liberty order meaning she must stay within her home address between 8pm and 6am for the duration of the order.
The 39-year-old had previously admitted the offence and she was sentenced at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
Duffy admitted drink-driving on February 18.
