THE A199 was closed at Dolphingstone for about three hours after a car crash.
The crash involved a Peugeot 206 and a Volkswagen Golf and took place on the A199 at Dolphingstone, between Tranent and Wallyford, just before 11am.
The police attended at the scene and closed the road, though there are no injuries reported at this time.
All buses were also rerouted.
The road has now been re-opened
