A MAN has appeared in private at court in connection with an alleged sex assault which took place in Musselburgh.
Kevin Turner, 27, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on petition on Monday, where he faced an allegation of assault with intent to rape.
Turner, from Edinburgh, appeared from custody and made no plea.
The case was continued for further examination and Turner was granted bail.
Turner’s court appearance follows an alleged incident at Millhill Wynd, Musselburgh, on February 9.
