A MAN has been arrested and charged after a break-in and theft from a pharmacy in Wallyford.

The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, when a quantity of prescription medication was stolen.

A large quantity of the medication has now been recovered and a 37-year-old man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Monday).

Police thanked members of the public who assisted with their enquiries.
