NO TRAINS ran on the Edinburgh-North Berwick line this morning.
ScotRail said that the problem was due to a 'shortage of train crew'.
The North Berwick to Edinburgh trains due to leave North Berwick at 10.21am, 10.50am, 11.50am and 12.22pm were all cancelled.
Likewise, the Edinburgh to North Berwick services scheduled to depart at 10.12am, 11.12am and 11.43am were also cancelled.
Although there were fears the problems could persist into the afternoon, services have now returned to normal on the line.
Disruption is possible Alan due to a train crew shortage, sorry about this, please keep checking https://t.co/QrFU9otcgB before setting off. ^A

Passengers are, though, encouraged to check the ScotRail website before setting out on their journey.
