A TRANENT man made repeated phone calls to his ex-partner and then went on to obstruct police officers after they had been called out to deal with him.
William Donaldson caused fear and alarm to the woman by repeatedly and persistently making telephone calls to her in July.
The police were called out and Donaldson, of Baxter’s Gate, subsequently obstructed and hindered the officers by shouting, swearing and struggling with them.
Donaldson committed the two offences at an address at the town’s Carlaverock Close on July 14.
The 23-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Monday, where Sheriff Ross told him he was being admonished on both charges.
